The Stolle Gubernatorial Express

Mason Conservative pulled an interesting item out of Chris Saxman's blog chat regarding a possible gubernatorial bid by Sen. Ken Stolle:

"I have only heard that Senator Stolle is running for Governor. I have not spoken with him about it. He has a great story being that he was a police officer and then passed the bar."

Now 2009 is a long way off, and there are probably any number of worthies who are entertaining ideas of running for statewide office.

But Ken Stolle? One of the driving forces behind the bungled property rights bill this session? The mastermind who conceived the now-abandoned gas tax rebate scheme?

Good grief.
