Trash in the Library of Virginia

For reasons I cannot fathom, the Library of Virginia wants to preserve portions of this blog (and others of far greater value, no doubt) in its collections:

The Library of Virginia has selected your Web site for inclusion in its historic collection of Internet materials related to Virginia's 2005 state-wide elections for Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General.

This is the last thing I expected to see in the inbox. But good for them. If the day comes, sometime long into the future, and a desperate doctoral candidate comes across this blog and wonders what in the name of God I hoped to achieve...well...to make a small difference in this contest. And to recruit soldiers for my army of the night. But mostly for the chance to say I knew Chad Dotson before he was Governor.
