Disaster Management and Hurricane Floyd
Sunday, October 09, 2005 :::
Richmond residents c. 1999 might remember Hurricane Floyd. The issue of disaster response came up right at the beginning of the debate and Kaine made reference to his response to Floyd. Kilgore offered a biting rebuttal, stating that Kaine or someone in City government forgot about the homeless.
Over at the Withering Look, MPH digs up a number of references on how the City, under Kaine and the other Great Minds on council, utterly dropped the ball.
MPH really needs to do oppo research for someone. He's good. And quick.
