It almost goes without saying that the geniuses at the Roanoke Times think Kilgore is all wet, too. I wonder if they were as righteously indignant when Wilder and Warner insisted on "no-use" clauses as well.
Interesting, though, that front-runners (and eventual winners) tend to insist on "no-use" and challengers (eventual losers) do not.
The RT really blunders into it, however, when they apply their own brand of pop-psychology to the Kilgore ads.
I am awaiting a similar analysis of the ad featuring Mark Warner that shows Kaine only in passing. Isn't that an example of a "strange, stealth campaign," too?
