A Simple Answer to a Simple Question

The Jaded JD asks what he calls simple question of knuckle-draggers like myself.

I cannot speak for my "ilk," as he so generously describes those who disagree with his position, but I will say simply this:

It is not a question of where should the budget be cut, but what is the proper role of government?

Put it another way, if the budget contains items that cannot be justified under the constitution, those items should be cut to zero. That would mean eviscerating many of the Commonwealth's current spending programs.

So be it.
